2. Purposes, Legal Bases and AI
We process your data for the following purposes:
- Service management: Account creation, platform access (Contract).
- Billing: Subscription and payment management (Contract/Legal obligation).
- SEO & AI service: SEO data analysis and text generation (Contract).
- Support & Improvement: User assistance and technical optimization (Legitimate interest).
- Marketing: Newsletter and communications (Consent).
No automated decision-making: Although our service uses artificial intelligence to generate content, no fully automated decision-making that produces legal effects or significantly affects you (within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR) is carried out without human oversight.
3. Data Collected
- Identity: Last name, first name, email.
- Third-party login (Social Login): If you use Google Connect, we receive your associated email and name.
- Payment: Handled entirely by Paddle (Merchant of Record). FeedMySEO never stores your credit card numbers.
- Business data (Inputs): Keywords, URLs and instructions provided for SEO analysis and text generation.
- Technical data: IP, logs, browser type.
4. Recipients and Subprocessors (Infrastructure & AI)
Your data is shared only with the technical service providers that are strictly necessary. We ensure their GDPR compliance.
- Payment (Merchant of Record): Paddle.com Market Ltd.
- Hosting: VPS server located in the European Union.
- SEO analysis: SEO data provider via API.
- Artificial Intelligence: Language model provider via API.
- Emailing: Transactional email sending platform.
AI clause: We use professional APIs. Your data is not used to train our providers' models.
5. Data Retention Period
- Active account: Duration of the contractual relationship.
- Inactive account: Deletion after 12 months of inactivity.
- Billing: 10 years (Accounting obligation).
- Cookies: 13 months maximum.
6. Your Rights and Response Times
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability.
Response time: We commit to responding to any rights exercise request within 30 days of receipt (extendable to 60 days in complex cases, in which case you will be notified).

7. Security and Data Breach
We use encryption (HTTPS, databases) and restricted access controls.
In the event of a data breach posing a risk to your rights and freedoms, we commit to notifying the CNIL within 72 hours and informing affected users as soon as possible.

Some subprocessors operate or process data outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or the Data Privacy Framework).
9. Protection of Minors
Our services are intended for professionals and adults. Use is prohibited for anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Cookies
We use technically necessary cookies (authentication, Paddle security). Analytical cookies are subject to your consent via our dedicated banner.
